Very difficult list to make. I based my list on who I think the best are in a head to head sense. So my opinion comes into play strongly here.

    1. Joe Louis
    2. Rocky Marciano
    3. Jack Dempsey
    4. Evander Holyfield
    5. Jack Johnson
    6. Ezzard Charles
    7. Oleksandr Usyk
    8. Michael Spinks
    9. Sam Langford
    10. Jersey Joe Walcott
    11. Gene Tunney
    12. Max Schmeling
    13. Floyd Patterson
    14. Archie Moore
    15. Roy Jones Jr
    16. Billy Conn
    17. Bob Fitzsimmons
    18. Jack Sharkey
    19. Jimmy Ellis
    20. Jerry Quarry
    21. Mairis Briedis
    22. James Toney
    23. Ingemar Johannson
    24. Ernie Terrell
    25. Dwight Muhammad Qawi

Its a good list, but the criteria is a little fuzzy. Ali and Frazier also started below 200, and you could put any number of cruisers and LHWs on here.

    Ali?
    Frazier?
    Qawi?
    Haye?
    Juan Carlos Gomez?
    Breidis?
    Tommy Burns
    Jimmy Bivins?
    Adamek?
    Leon Spinks?
    Bob Foster?
Gassiev may get on there if he ever has a good heavyweight run.

You can go on and on.

    Dempsey above Holyfield?

    it’s not fuzzy

Ali when he won the title was never below 200

    Frazier was always above 200

Qawi is a good choice I may add him in. I just did

    burns was not good enough

Haye too inactive and glass jaw

    Bivins just missed

    Spinks not good enough

    Foster glass jaw above 175

    juan Carlos Gomes lol

yeah tough call Dempsey and Holyfield

    Fair play then.

    How about Jimmy Braddock?
    Zora Foley?
    Eddie Machon?
    Joe Chonyski?
    Corbett?

Juan Carlos gets a lol? Didn't he have like 13 defenses and a good heavyweight run? Seriously good fighter, there.

Idk man, I somewhat disagree with lots of your picks.

    McCallum
    Hagler
    Duran
    Steele
    Hopkins
    Leonard

Are some of the best I've seen and it's not even in your list. Quarry? Ellis? Walcott? Johansson? Seriously? I'm not too sure of them being in top 30 let alone 25.

Look at McCallum for an example, a technically sound fighter with an iron chin and good power. Never once in his career got knocked out humiliatingly, always good at adapting and keeping a calm composure. He still can be one of the best fighters despite losing his power. Defensively excellent and knows how to get the job done and instantly become a vicious puncher to knock his opponents out (Curry, Watson, Jackson go figure).

I don’t want to get offensive but do you know how to read? This is a head to head list below 200lb. Not a p4p greatest list. A 147lb sugar Ray Leonard can’t beat a 200lb man

My list would have quite a bit different order, but it's all subjective.

I thought anybody who are below 200lbs are allowed to be mentioned. So I don't understand you're point right now.

    ok fine

you think sugar Ray Leonard and Marvin Hagler can beat anyone on my list?

mike McCallum vs Jersey Joe walcott? HA!

i just don’t think you get it. This is not a p4p list. It’s who are the best head to head fighters against 200lb and below men

I don't think any of those beat the guys on his list. I would do one myself but I think the OP list is close enough that I've got no real arguments.

    well done
I will add that if a shop worn Greb can beat the #11 guy twice( 2nd being controversial as it gets), hes got a shot against half of this list, especially when the #3 guy wanted nothing to do with him ( although a lose lose sit. for JD)...
does he make the list , IDK ? ,, but its H2H so he's in the conversation
