...sorry to say. Nice chap but his purpose is done. He served fury well but his lack of instruction, his holes in tactics and his experience at top lvl is honesty **** poor. Fury needs to learn some decent offence. And needs a trainer to match that. Not just a trainer that will teach him just defence, jerky jab and head movement. Fury needs to work on combinations and start hitting like a heavy weight not a giant size version of Paulie mallanaggi. Ben kept repeating same old thing in the corner. "That it easy don't rush it ...take it easy don't rush it...." All the way up to 6 which he was clearly losing. He should of said to fury by the 4-5 rd "what are you doing??? u are blowing this fight. Start working." Fury was lucky on the cards. That fight had draw written all over it. Ben has to go. Otherwise fury will be stuck on the save lvl for years and will get beaten by mediocre lvl fighters.
It's not the trainers fault if the pupil is a ******ed *******. His pupil is a guy who decided to quit boxing and snif stripes instead of defending the title when he won the world title. What do you want a trainer to do with such a scumbag? with such a weak and undisciplined mind? Maybe it's his fault, maybe he should have refused to train, like that, directly, "I wont train you". Apart from that I wouldnt bash him for anything else...
