Ben Edwards V Shane Tilyard for the vacant Australian Heavyweight title

Edwards shaping up for his once a year fight.
If he's anywhere near fit he should give Tilyard an early night.

Ben should win this fight no problem.

This will be his 6 fight in 12 months if you include his kickboxing fights so you would think that he will be in some sort of condition to put Tilyard to sleep.

'Bangin' Ben Edwards is very good at knocking blokes out. In MMA he's already KOed over 30 and already has 3 KOs from 4 boxing bouts.

Ben to score to 4th boxing KO against Shane Tilyard :good

He's certainly got heavy hands Edwards & should stop Tilyard within 2 rds.

If Ben doesn't get him in the 1st he'll get him in the 2nd.

Ben by KO. But not a fair fight, big man vs a small man.

Would be better to see Ben against a true heavyweight.

Good luck to Ben, but unless he devotes himself to boxing, I'm staying off the train.

But you can understand why he doesn't devote himself though. If he did he might get 3 fights a year max and would be lucky to take home 10 grand for the 3. I dont know about your home budget but 10 grand aint paying the mortgage, bills and so on so you can see why he goes and fights overseas in kickboxing events to make a bit more coin.

Yeah def understand the financials. He has said that he makes more kickboxing since he's established there. I guess boxing is still an unknown quantity for him and the short term financial pain every boxer has to go through initially, might not transfer to the long term gain for him. I wonder how good you can get if you stay multi disciplined? Maybe some of you fellas can cite others that have done so successfully. Not gone from one to the other, but done both at same time?
