SEEMS nobody is safe these days.,
First Mathew Johns , now Ben Ikin.
Any little adversity these days, and these personalities automatically quit.

Yeah I agree, as the father of a celebrity who lost millions of other peoples money he should have been given special treatment.

Was Ben Ikin in a position where he had no choice but to quit?

best news I've heard all day, mind you I've only been awake 30mns...

Worst commentator ever, I'm from Qld and he was an embarrassment. Rather listen to gould tell everyone "I said at the start of the year ...blah blah blah"

One if his gold coast insolvency accountants stated that if his Mackay and Albury projects are completed investors will recieve 90 to 100 cents to the dollar.
Instead of crucifying Allan Ikin in a situation where he is virtually powerless, why arent some of these media outlets trying to publicise this fact? I suppose they are more interested in a sensational story then the best interests of investors

Not only a terrible commentator but a very overrated fooballer as well, only got the TV gig for being a suck and Bennetts son in law.

yep. boring commentator. i dont know how he got the gig?

he was on his fathers buisness promo, so i hardly think ben can morally distance himself from the failure. he put his reputation on the line by speaking on the promo.

i imagine ben has plenty of money, and access to it. perhaps if he feels so strongly, he could complete the projetcs that are said to be so valuable, and potentially profitable? and save the business and the investors money? yeah, right....:yep

100 other developers have gone bust for the same reasons.....and most of the projects would return the money if given the time.

The current finance market has closed the doors on developers......60% of projects have not got off the ground and many will get sold at 50% of the value....it sux but it a fact.
