So Whittakers Ankle ballooned in size. Yet no one seemed to think of taking a photo and posting it. Really unfortunate from Team Whittaker that.

Interesting BS is suggesting BW has taken his eye off the ball.

One line that really make me laugh "he is one of the most recognisable faces in British Sport". That just is a nonsense isn't it?

BW looked uninterested the whole fight. He was staring off in to the crowd rather than listening to corner, he has bought in to his own hype and probably has took his eye of the ball.

Apart from boxing fans, no one has a scooby doo who he is.

Tbf Ben Whittaker has 3m followers on IG. The statement is definitely hyperbole but in boxing he probably is one of the most recognisable amongst casual viewers. His showboating clips earlier this year went viral on all platforms.

3m followers is pretty crazy for someone who hasn’t accomplished anything in pro boxing yet. Outside of Joshua and Fury I don’t think any active British boxer comes close to that.

Ben Schlong is an idiot. He tries to match Eddie Earn in hyperbole but his brain is a bit too simple and he ends up looking stupid.

Yes that's why lacks attention spam, not more that 30secs lol or wherever the tiktok vids are, Ben represents all what's wrong with the current casual scene, their lack of understanding of the sport and how things work in terms of you don't take the Mick out of journey men who already know their fate yet you use them to grow your fragile ego and that goes viral lool

And then when someone at a slightly higher level hits you back to don't fancy it and quit at such a big stage in Riyadh Season.. that's ultra embarrassing lol

In terms of being well known, I would say Tommy Fury and Chris Eubank JNR are above BW

You are probably correct. But Tommy is a reality star on the YouTube boxing scene and Eubank surprisingly doesn’t have a big social media following. It may be the case that Whittaker’s team has been buying followers but I do think his recent viral showboating has helped popularise him in the country.

I don’t know mate, there’s plenty of people who i work with that don’t follow boxing but they know all about Whitttaker. His videos do the rounds on social media so this line isn’t that far fetched to be honest.

Something that Ben doesn't get asked here, is Frank Warren saying the Cricket fixer went and asked Ade to ask Eubank the question at the press conference.

I started out really wanted to like Shalom, but I think he's just as ratty as the others

I don’t mind him , Hearn and FW are definitely trying to make his life difficult.

He seems to rattle Hearn and has stopped trying to get on his good side which I am liking.

    Agreed.

Seems to be a big agenda against him from promoters and managers at the minute. From interviews/headlines I’ve seen over the last week it seems to be a mix of bitterness that the Saudi’s have got him involved (Hearn/Warren) and jealousy that he got the Sky deal (Kalle, Lee Eaton, Sam Jones etc).

Unfortunately BS just isn't very likeable in my opinion.
