So it seems Shalom is doing more staging. I get it's part of the game, but this and the Eubank thing, seems both he and the geezer who got done for spot fixing in crickets efforts.

I really wanted to like Shalom. He is the kid at School that got bullied, but the main reason he did was because he was a snide ittle ****er.

Bud he’s in a cut throat industry up against those 2 snakes, he’s just hustling, nothing more.

He’s got to come out swinging even though I don’t agree with the Wardley gloves accusation, especially after his own promoted boxer wore them on Saturday.

I get that but he is the same snake as those two minus the charisma. The poor me stuff is very annoying

Also trying to paint yourself as ethical blah blah. When you're right hand man was a key part of the biggest sports fixing event in my lifetime. It's just all tiresome

It certainly is, we agree on that. In our sport we are deep in snakes and it’s disappointing that they get so much media time, which takes away reporting on the actual boxers.

It seems to me like Eubank has had too much credit for beating an old Liam Smith who was never much good to begin with. He shouldn't be taken seriously.

This may be true but it seems like Shalom has interfered with several fighters under contract which is why they have taken legal action against him (e.g. Okolie, Buatsi, Yarde).

Shalom has actually put on the best-selling show in the UK this year in Wardley vs Clarke, and has managed to do 3 stadium fights within just over a year. Since Shalom and Boxxer haven't been involved in Saudi this year until recently, you would expect their UK shows to be a lot more frequent (they've put on hardly any this year and may only have one more in December in Liverpool headlined by Natasha Jonas), but their 3 best shows this year were Wardley vs Clarke, Buatsi vs Azeez, and Billam-Smith vs Riakporhe. If you compare headliners only you could argue Boxxer and Shalom have had the 3 strongest headliners out of all promotional companies in the UK (maybe neck-and-neck with Matchroom who had Taylor vs Catterall II, Catterall vs Prograis, Edwards vs Yafai).

Shalom has also done a good job with Azim to be fair to him. He certainly isn't clueless.

This isn't a dig, maybe I'm just misunderstanding the point, but AJ-DDD trumps everything else in the UK this year surely? After that, yes, Wardley-Clarke was by far the biggest arena / UK-run show this year. Great night and well promoted.
