Yeah, heard Cameron mention it on Talk Sport, very embarrassing for Boxxer. If they accidentally sent a 12 round contract that was already signed by both parties, just accept it and move on. Scrabbling to move it to 10 makes Ben look weak and makes Boxxer look incompetent and have no confidence in getting a win, so stupid.

Totally agree, very unprofessional by Boxxer if true, and doesn't make Whittaker look great.

Ben best get the miles in for those extra 2 rounds, (assuming it goes to 12)!

If they can’t get it down to 10 I’d be half expecting a Whittaker pull out but surely not after what happened in the first fight.

You just give Cameron extra money on top to accept moving it from 12 down to 10 rounds.

It's really bad if they've sent Cameron a 12 round contract instead of a 10 round fight by accident, that is amateur hour behaviour.

I wonder if he'll dig his heels in for the 12 though, that's got to be in his interest surely?

Unless they offered mental money I wouldn't budge an inch.

I’d be worried that Cameron, who’s had 4 years out of the ring, ballooned up to 20 stone and was a drug-taking alcoholic, wants 12 rounds more than someone who’s been on the GB squad and been full-time since turning over.

Cameron and his team should fully stand firm on this

Liam Cameron shouldn't overegg this. Whittaker might well pull out. This is a non title fight afterall why would it ever be 12 rounds?

Makes him look weak if he does, then he'll never hear the end of it.

Maybe Cameron is his Tony Thompson boogie man, maybe last time out was a blip.

Either way, he needs to right that wrong.

    Just my ten pence

I think it's safe to say that Whittaker is never going to be the fighter that he thinks he is.

I thought that even before he turned pro. He knows he was losing the final, did nothing to change anything in 3rd round and then throws a strop when he didn't win.

He doesn't have it. European Title is his absolute ceiling. No shame in that but he won't be a world champion
