    Interestingly Frank said they never offered Ben anything

    He said all the names Ben wanted to fight they had no interest in promoting and Ben didnt want to fight any of their suggestions.

    So a bunch of Latvian binmen likely to be incoming

    He is going to hang around like a bad smell doing the bare minimum until Bivol and Beterbiev retire.

    A massive embarrassment for them but would be hugely enjoyable for us! I’ll keep my fingers crossed!
    He obviously struggled with the occasion on the Saudi show for the first Cameron fight so matchroom debut here you never know it could get to him again, there will be a fair bit of pressure/expectation on him for the foreseeable!

    Hearn squirming his way out of the Buatsi fight already. ‘We like the Buatsi fight but we’ve already agreed to fight in America next’

    Agreed with who? Donald Trump? Elon Musk? I very much doubt America will care if Whittaker doesn’t fight over there next.

    They were begging for Whittaker to be moved up the rankings at the WBC convention and now they’ve ordered him a tough fight they don’t want it.

    Also remember Hearn slating Boxxer for not putting a 21 year old Azim in with Dalton Smith but 28 year old Olympian Whittaker needs more time.

    Has this guy disappeared from the planet?

    1 round of boxing in 11 months and barely a mention of his name in months for supposedly great young talent. I assume they are due to announce a fight for him soon, they better get a move on, he's 30 next year, has he even fought for an area title yet?!

    He's going to be 29 soon, if they are worried about matching him with anyone decent, they should at least get him out regularly to get the rounds in. I'm actually surprised at how little we hear about him. Matchroom only ever seem to talk about Conor Benn, yet Whittaker is their biggest 'star' after AJ.

    Shalom's recent hilarious interview on TalkSport said it all. Whittaker hard to handle, injured, covering up problems. I know Shalom's probably miffed at having the guy robbed away from him but he seemed to be revelling in the chat.

    Ben Whitaker wants to be a celebrity and be seen among famous people.

    If Matchroom matches him hard in a fifty fifty fight then I suspect he will get injured.
