I find it odd that despite the fact that they are both at/near the top of their division and only one devision apart,that no one ever discusses this as a potential fight.It has all the makings of a great matchup to watch.(That is if you like technical boxing,course).At this point in his career,Hopkins would not be able to keep up with Ward's speed and intensity.But Hopkins would have a clear size advantage.Hopkins is a still a great defender with above average reflexes,so he should be able to avoid much of Wards offense.However,he would still be outworked.Benard would get in the potshot right hand here and there,keeping things close,but I see this as a close UD for Andre Ward.After he wins in December,this is a bout I would love to see next year.
