    Beterbiev is the man at 175. Bivol would not be recognized as a world champ in the 1 belt era.

    A real intriguing match up if it happens. For me, it's one of the most intriguing in the sport which can be made right now.

    I agree that Beterbiev should have been the man at light hravyweight FACT is that some think Bivol is. In a one belt era, I think you are correct it's Beterbiev all the way.

    Wait, who was the lineal champ? I thought there wasn’t one since Ward retired? Unless Stevenson was seen as lineal for beating Dawson? But Dawson was also wiped out by Ward (granted at a lower weight)

    Unfortunately you can say that about nearly every decent proposed matchup between upper echelon boxers. The Haney-Loma
    fight coming up is the only diversion from the normal boxing business. Garcia-Davis was an entertainment for the young and stupid
    media youth, and in retrospect we can understand that Garcia wasn't at Tank's level. Two well matched boxers in the top 10 of their division fighting each other is a rarity nowadays.
