When being honest to my self, i simply wish i would of had a father by my side. A decent father that cared about me and my future. I am not the lucky one, no such love for me. All i can do is look and admire fathers around me, i done this for the better half of my life. A Father to admire to me is Jose Benavidez Sr. Great and real all the time, no lies n bull**** in his world. A lot of Hard Work and Preparation i see in his eyes,. That being said how can u haters try to separate a good father from a good son. Realize who Jr was before he came to the WILD CARD gym, a lot of hard work and preparation. Roach is the trainer to be with now,, and his legacy would probably last a lifetime, Respect. But Jose Benavidez Jr, is going to be the best FIGHTER"boxer" your beautiful eyes ever seen. LIKE FATHER LIKE SON!!:bbb Respect to all the good fathers who keep their kids in mind, and do something about it.
Hmm I disagree,m I think a lot of fathers are way to overprotective of their kid, some guys need a trainer like roach to develop further then a father can bring them. You romanticize the relationship, thats good but not always whats best for the boxingcarreer. Its better if the guy has a good bond with his dad but a toptrainer in his corner.
There is No way in Hell That Freedie Roach is a better coach then Jose Benavidez Sr to Jose Benavidez Jr.. realize how the kid became so good. He has been work at his craft ever sence he was 6 years old probably even younger, having the right coach all his life has carried him through. Also Sr loves for his son Jr to learn from the art from all the great people around him, he does not cage Jr in his world, Jr does what ever he pleases around here!! Plus i give thanks to the Benavidez Family for out ready giving so much back to Phoenix AZ, From all the kids that received a gift last night, to the homeless that have a blanket to cover their toes at night!!
Roach is just a proven force behind the mitts. His fighters are offensively at least some of the best in the biz.
