He's picked the worst possible opponent to pull this **** with. Angulo is in incredible shape, while David looks a blobby mess that's coming off of a months long Twinkie eating bender. This is the opportunity of a lifetime for Roamer, and he's taken it very seriously. And you don't just walk down a guy as heavy handed as Angulo and not expect to pay for it and dearly. He's only been beaten once and by Ramirez, a far more skilled fighter than David and he beat him by outboxing him, and in the process got rocked to his core a few times, doing everything in his power to avoid his shots. Benavidez will be walking into them, and thus far he's not proven to me his chin is made of granite, but Angulo's however, is quite solid. So not only do I think an upset is possible tonight. I expect it.

Benavidez always looks soft tbf he’s got that Mikey garcia build.

I’m a benavidez fan but he didn’t look great in the dirrel fight looked like he was doing a jarred Hurd impression just ploughing forward with no guile and now this its a lot of warning signs he may come unstuck.

still backing him to win and then will end up fighting yildrim for vacant belt and laughably become a 3 time world champion lol.

Yeah, I was very disappointed to see him miss weight. Definitely looks soft. I guess he’s relying on his power to bail him out though.

I’m a Benavidez fan but rooting for Angulo to humble him here. Hate when fighters do this, 1lb over is bad enough, 3 is inexcusable. War Roamer.

Benavidez should show what he's made of and move up to LHW to fight Bivol, Badou Jack, Pascal, Beterbiev, Eleider Alvarez, Smith, Kovalev, Gilberto Ramirez, Marcus Browne or even Callum Johnson
There are so many options for him at LHW

Why stay at SmW ? For what ? Waiting for Plant lol.....Canelo ? Come on man, get a belt at LHW then call out Canelo
He'd have a better shot at beating Canelo at LHW than at SMW thats for sure

ROFLMAO Pollo Canelo would never agree to fight him not even in Vegas where as we all know Pollo has a 3 point lead before the first bell rings. Benevidez can fight If he wants to

It is a poor show but you know what, I heard much less fuss when Canelo was caught twice for peds ...
