    May 2nd per the scene.

Personally I am mixed on this fight. I dont really rate Zurdo at all but I cant knock Benavidez for trying to stay busy. Benavidez has had a tough go of getting fights and the only critique I can make is inactivity...fights too infrequently. Other than that he does everything people ask for.

Thoughts on the fight? Benny's career?

Zurdo is one of the worst champions in the sport, but this is a banana peel for Benavidez. Zurdo UD's him with relative ease. We saw how many problems southpaw Morrell gave him, well Zurdo is bigger, and far more acclimated to the weight, and throws a ton of volume as well. Zurdo's whiskers are solid enough to stand up to Smith Jr, Billam-Smith, Goulamirian and Dorticos' power, Benavidez's power won't phase him in the least.

    And Jai gets bypassed again.

There’s Opetaia and a heap of cowards at CW.

I don’t care who wins. It’s a battle of the also rans.

This is why I hate tweener divisions. He should stay at 175 and fight the other 2 Bs. Going up to CW would be such a waste.

Benavidez said he walks around at a hundred and ninety to two-hundred pounds. Don't think he enjoys making the weight at light heavy.

It's quite a hard fight to muster up much feeling about. Benavidez has way better fights to take at 175 and Zurdo really ought to be fighting Jai. I don't even think it'll make for a good clash of styles. Like, yeah, I guess it's nice for Benavidez to become a 3-weight champion, but he never really established himself as the best guy at either 168 or 175 beforehand, and he won't be doing that at CW if he beats Zurdo.
