So Benavidez has to stay inactive or take a garbage fight whilst he is waiting for Canelo to fight the other Charlo chick and possibly Crawford going up 3 divisions?

Why is Canelo delaying? Is he scared?

Too many fighters holding belts hostage and stonewalling the careers of legitimate contenders. Charlo, Fury, Canelo...it's a cancer on the sport.

The Nail’s right hand will be the hardest shot David has ever eaten. Gvozdyk will be ready for this one.

I got the Nail in 7. I’m thinking a ref stoppage after David gets up from getting dropped and tries to fight back rather than hold and buy some time. Gvozdyk will take advantage of that.

No idea. Not saying its proof he beats him but its a piece of evidence to consider.

Holy hell its obvious the WBC are not interesting in enforcing anything against Canelo. He never said Canelo MUST fight Benavidez this year, go and find the specific quote you can't.

Secondly, even if they enforce it, Canelo will drop the belt and make some excuse. He does not need to be undisputed forever.

Canelo's reputation will not survive allowing the Benavidez fight to die while he fought the Charlos. He will now be forgotten as soon as he retires.

The Nail hasn't been The Nail in a long time. It's over his best days are long gone, he's getting stopped.

You seem to have unwavering bias for Canelo's behavior no matter what he does or who he chooses not to fight. It's actually a bit disturbing. Be well .

If he turns down 55m he's definitely ducking and whether Benavidez was to try to enforce his mandatory challenge then Canelo would just give up the belt.

Canelo is not going to give up the belt, that's a pipe dream. If Benavidez enforces the mandatory he gets the fight. There's no reason to be fighting at 175 this summer if he can fight Canelo in May or September. This is the fight that he's been wanting, this is the fight that the fans are calling for. Both sides need to make it happen.

So, again Canelo is allowed to fight Charlo and Benavidez has to wait for him?

    Are you freaking serious?

Does Benavidez want the fight or not? If he fights at 175 in June, then it doesn't sound like the fight will be made. But it can, so make it, make it now, stop making excuses.

He's a Canelo troll the way Miniq is a Fury troll.

Slap him on ignore and carry on.

Meanwhile I'm the only one who apparently wants to see the fight get made, while everyone else is praising Benavidez for running off to 175. It's hilarious.

But Shadow you forget your hero Gingernelo moved up from 160 to 168, to avoid having to fight dangerous opponents & cherry pick 168, then move up to 175 to cherry pick Bivol & duck Benevidez. But that backfired when Bivol whipped his Ginger azz Ole ginger nut like moving up & down that way he avoided the dangerous ones
How anyone still supports Gingernelo amazes me
