Jai will celebrate Cinco de Mayo by clobbering Benavidez like a human pinata.

Lets see how David responds when he cops that New South in the mouth lad.

Sir Jai will be too much for the fat and flabby Benavidez.

    Knighted.

Benavidez running his mouth behind Jai's back, claiming Jai was hurt many times tonight and is very slow

Reading between the lines seeing that bit of vulnerability in Jai tonight has clearly imbued him with the courage to come out of the coop

He's like he's not as scary as I feared he was

Bro, I think I might actually be able to beat this guy in the US with a full set of home officials

Lets see how Jai responds when David hits him at will. I like Jai so I hope he gets a big pay day which I think he will.

I think it’s a very winnable fight for Jai. Let’s not forget that David has virtually no footwork and often punches whilst stepping. Jai has so much more poise and if he’s really on it, he’ll be able to control distance behind his jab and disrupt David’s rhythm and balance.

Obviously in close, David will have the upper hand as his ability to chain shots together and peel the guard away from the face is excellent. But overall, I do think we’re overestimating how devastating he really is. He was able to hit Zudo at will because, at cruiserweight, Zurdo was an obese plodding mess relative to Jai. Jai is obviously the stronger man as well as he is full and lean at the weight, whereas David has maintained his skinny-fat, ropy build which to his credit, serves him well.

Good fight though, and it’s 100% a pick ‘em.

Jai is very lean but he has a slim frame

I don't think he will be the success at HW like people think he will be......

There's plenty of people who will be able to overpower him.

If Benavidez has no intentions to fight at LHW anytime soon then he should drop the belt

If Bivol is fully intent on ageing out Beterbiev and avoiding the trilogy for low money then we all need to see Beterbiev fight got for a vacant belt

Benavidez looks like French Montana from 10-15 years ago.

I am an Opetaia fan, I picked up Benavidez because je impressed me in his last fight and Jai get hit a lot.
But damn Jai is tough, to be honest I would bet on either of them.
I hope they both go at HW and makes good money, especially Jai as he currently probably earn less

I'm an Opetiah fan, but he has looked
less dominant as of late and more vulwnrable. Ge gets clipped and rocked quite a bit. I know he'a tough, but Benavidez is a nightmare when he goes off on you.

Slightly favouring Benavidez right now. I like that they both have a killer mentality so thats going to be cool, Lion vs Lion.

I dunno if that is really smart. Opetaia leaves no slight unanswered in the ring and if Benavidez keeps it up Jai will reply on May 5 within the squared circle.

He has been allowing opponents to get inside the last couple of fights and should go back to using his feet for Benavidez.

To this day I don’t believe Canelo ducked him. I think it was legit a power play due to Benavidez’ mouth. I believe Canelo even said as much at some point.
