Does anyone give Plant a chance I think Plant can box his nut off at times but Benavidez just walks through him eventually I don’t see a beat down but a definite stoppage in rounds 9-11. Plant doesn’t have the greatest gas tank or whiskers. Plant doesn’t have the size either. Plant was huge against the solid dwarf but Benavidez is just about as tall and a bit thicker. Benavidez also applies serious pressure even when not punching and has super quick hands and good but not great power.
Plant has now learned how to plant his feet when throwing his powwa shots So Benavidez better watch out because that Plant bites back!
It was an ugly loss to Canelo, but a spirited comeback. If he's recommitted I don't see why he can't win against Benavidez who seems to regress every time out (because he can't even pretend to take these opponents seriously anymore).
They said similar things about Zurdo, that how he will destroy Bivol etc. But Bivol outboxed him. Similar thing will happen to Benavidez. Plant is the better boxer.
