Benitez, 155 vs. Lamotta, 160 for all the marbles

I actually give Wilfred a chance here.

Lamotta, didnt have much more than a lot of stamina and a good chin

But he had no punch and Wilfred had all the skills to frustrate him.

something tells me Benitez W 15 Lamotta

Not for me .Unlike Robinson Benitez did not have the punch to keep Jake of him.
Lamotta floored Robinson twice, no punch?

Jake would be in control the whole way.

I see the Bull getting himself a decision win.

Two separate fights,in their 2nd one Jake put him right out of the ring.
    2nd fight.
    • Robinson was knocked through the ropes in the eighth round. The International News Service (INS) reported: "A right to the body and a left to the head knocked Robinson through the ropes in the eighth round. Robinson lay sprawling outside the ring from a hard right to the body and a left to the head and the count was nine when the bell rang, saving the negro lad from a knockout."

    3rd fight.
    • Robinson was floored in the seventh round for an eight-count. Robinson later said, "He really hurt me with a left in the seventh round. I was a little dazed and decided to stay on the deck."
    • Still think Jake couldn't punch?
    • He'd rip Wilfred's belly out!

I think Lamotta was too big, strong and tough for Benitez.

Jake has too much, stamina and too much chin and was very physically strong. Benitez hangs on for a bit but I see LaMotta stopping Benitez in 10.

Benitez has no chance , he'll look slick in some moments but he has nothing to keep LaMotta off him. Wilfred couldn't keep Hamsho off and Jake is another level

Benitz was not his best at middleweight and it was unwise for him to fight there. LaMotta UD.

More Jake’s style to fight 17-year-old, 140-pound Wilfred.
