Thanks. Refs should start wearing head cams for cards that aren't being shown on TV to earn a little extra on the side lol
Round 5 Hernández is looping his right up top now, around the guard of Yong as the latter keeps backpedaling and pumping out weak jabs. Hernández is shuffling heel-toe, very small and carefully measured steps, cautious about wasting energy or sacrificing his balance as he loads up on body shots diving in. Yong is making frequent switches in stance but is equally ineffective from either - vacillating between missing with left jabs and then pinball-paddling the air with sweeping rights & left hooks - or having soft right jabs caught on Hernández's left glove and then follow-up left crosses stuffed on the waistband. Yong backed into a corner flurrying as Hernández scores a glancing looped right on the ear. 10-9 Hernández 49-46 Hernández
Round 6 Hernández is having to pry off Yong when the latter gloms onto him in the clinches, then fling him a couple of feet and pelt him with as many body shots as he can before Yong either flees or jumps in again with the octopus impression. Yong throwing hideous flurries and wool-gathering with both arms at medium-close range and then grabbing. Hernández just leaning his full body weight inside, getting the measure of Yong and then uncorking big left upper-hooks into the ribs or torquing roundhouse rights into his hip. Almost all of Yong's shots are easily blocked by Hernández despite the elder having not particularly fast reflexes. Just too much goofing off from Yong, and too much of a sparring partner mentality although he shows flashes at times of being potentially slick when he wants to be and more effective than we're seeing. 10-9 Hernández 59-55 Hernández
I'm getting motion sickness, I shouldn't feel like I'm watching a boxing match out of a jet that's doing backflips.
Round 7 Hernández is throwing combos at the body now, whipping his arms out with elbows bent so that he resembles nothing more than a chicken flapping its wings as his fists bounce harmlessly off Yong's thighs and distal abdomen. Yong is chopping with rights on the inside, clipping Hernández on the jaw and neck, then admiring his own work and stepping out behind a light jab and some powder-puff slapping hooks against the backs of Hernández's gloves. Hernández bowing forward, barely able to keep himself upright now, feeling the pace, but to his credit still launching body shots (of increasingly poor aesthetic value and efficacy) whenever he's properly in range. 10-9 Hernández, closer 69-64 Hernández
When he holds the camera up it looks like a black dude and a white dude trading leather in a well lit car park.
Round 8 Hernández is having a hell of a time getting in close now, and is getting drilled behind the ear when he does as Yong just straightens up and punches down at him, many landing as rabbit punches but many legal. Yong is just prodding him with left or right jabs (depending on his stance, as he's still doing this schizophrenic change every half minute or so thing - although I wouldn't call him very smooth in transition, nor a very natural switch-hitter). Hernández is loading up, carpet-bombing the body from outside as he dives in, causing the crowd to roar - but everything is missing or picked off with plumbing check-jabs from Yong. 10-9 Yong 78-74 Hernández
