Ben gotta be close to being a free agent. Would Hearn take him?

I didn’t know that he did that but if someone behaves like that he deserves all he gets and more. Piece of ****. He deserves it just for the showboating in my opinion.

If Whitaker doesn't want to be booed he shouldn't act the way he does. He's happy enough to sell tickets, he should know what the response will be.

That Tetteh stoppage was bad as well. Breaking up a clinch to say that's enough is a choice

Yeah I think it was a 10 fight contract originally wasn't it? Wouldn't surprise me at all if Hearn tried to sign him.

I think the person actually filmed him. Tbf Whittaker did offer to pay for the phone ( as he should) and him and the person who filmed him were said to be amicable afterwards. Reminds me a bit like tonight after Whittaker was mouthing at Grant Smith, then was okay with him shortly after. This would indicate to me that Whittaker is impulsive and doesn’t think things through. He will probably play up to his so called bad guy roll, but my gut feeling is that it probably bothers him.

Being local and knowing a few boxers and trainers who know Whittaker they all say he's a nice lad and nothing like how he comes across on TV they reckon it's an act for hype and publicity and he's not really like that.
I'm not defending it either it makes me cringe tbh just saying what I've heard on the local grapevine.

Ben getting booed in his own city sums it up .. his clown and classless antics not making him likeable it's the opposite people bought the tickets to see him lose lol ..

Ben can be a decent fighter under Andy but I don't think even Andy really liked what Ben done after the fight .. that's not Andy Lee style and I truly believe back in the changing room Andy will talk to Ben about that I don't think we will see Ben do that disrespectful type of stuff after a win again that's classless.

Ben Vs Yarde is a good fight , I think Yarde beats him ..So Ben really domestic /Euro level

Just back home from the event.

Good show, was nice to see the venue packed out. Felt the Cameron stoppage was too soon personally, which was a shame as the atmosphere really cranked up for that fight (mostly due to the booing of Whittaker) so was hoping for half a dozen rounds of good action. Hate it when a main event ends so quickly.

Outside of that, was good to see Big Fraze back. Denny vs Elvis was fun. Cutler vs Eggington a decent scrap, although I thought Cutler edged it so was shocked to hear the 90-83 card for Eggington!

Good that the NEC was full - I've been there a few times with banks of empty seats and zero atmosphere.

So this guy who tried to follow the Floyd Mayweather / Naseem Hamed blueprint broke down into tears, stating the criticism affected him mentally? What an absolute fraud and a wuss. He should go sort his "mental elf" out, if he's that fragile.

Basically he tried being a cuunt to his opponents, tried being the bad guy, tried to make it look like as long as people are talking about him, it's all good but failed at the first hurdle lol.

Zero sympathy for this clown whatsoever. He deserves every bit of online trolling he gets if he acts in such a classless manner to everyone, whilst navigating through his boxing career.

There's a reason he got trolled hard and criticised heavily after his last fight and it's not because of what happened in that fight.

Frank has been very quick in all the contract stuff to say how bad he feels for BW. Wouldn't surprise me if he went there

The fans were robbed of a decent fight because the A Side who isn’t world level needed to retain his unbeaten record.

This was a premature stoppage. As soon as Cameron was slightly wobbled the referee couldn’t wait to jump in and stop it.
