    Good fight.
Shame about the 3-knockdown rule. That was competitive.

I met Iran in a strip club before one of the most punch drunk boxers I've ever met. Face all swollen . was a sad sight

The brit tv and Benn and his camp were hyping a ray Leonard fight but in that era of huge boxing interest and such deep levels of talent and competition Benn was still a way behind those VIP fights with hearns and srl. He had a huge support in England but those fights would have only made financial sense in England with 60,000 in Wembley but he wasn't fighting in England...and srl and th were too imperious at this stage to go the UK....man oh man the mw ranks were 100 times more talented, colourful and capable than these days Atg ggg aside....Benn almost fought Duran...a Don curry fight after this would have been better than rushing into eubanks

I sort of guessed Barkley would have done his money but I had no idea it was so bad that he started stripping.

    Bad times.

Check the Carlie Murphy monologue about The Blade, so funny.
RE the Benn fight though, he was a force of nature when firing on all cylinders. Amazing stuff.

Benn went right into their back gardens didn't he! DeWitt lived in NJ and Iran lived in LV!

Galvano in Italy, he nearly got a draw from stopping him cleanly on cuts!
