He was simply not as good, watch any video of the four in their prime and compare.

Collins was pretty decent in his prime- didnt Roy Jones duck Collins?

I doubt it, Roy would have wrecked him and any of these would have beat them in their better years.

Collins ducked Calzaghe when he was coming up, that is well known.

So you are saying Collins faked the collapse while sparring and the doctors report was a hoax?

Watson would probably go at number 3.

Here is an article from a newspaper in 1999 regarding Collins collapse whilst sparring for the Calzaghe fight.

If this is regarded as a duck, well then you are an idiot.

Another Fact is that Collins called out Jones Jr many times. if you look at the end of Collins/Eubank 1 (i think), Collins calls out RJJ live on TV.
I dont think he would duck anyone to be honest.

I'm not saying he would beat RJJ, but I just think RJJ knew there was easier fights out there for him than Collins and effectively ducked Collins.

One more fact. Collins beat Eubank and Benn twice.
They were all around the same age and around the same stage in their career. Yes, they may have been easier on the eye with better skills but when push came to shove they got beat. Simple as.

I'm only replying to your message, not to say that Collins should be number 1 on the list, but because you clearly dismiss him as totally inferior to the rest by the way you structured your list. Which is wrong.

If great warriors like Benn and Eubank have given this guy lots of respect, then why cant an internet armchair boxing fan give him a bit of credit?

Just one of the things that annoys me about this website, armchair fans who probably never stepped into a ring dissing very good boxers...

Collins was not as tallented skillwise like the other 3 but he has so much heart and toughness ... The guy was a real warrior.
