What you think? I think if all 4 were at middle they would arguably be the top 4 MW on the planet, such is the weakness of the division atm. Only Pavlik would pose problems. Imagine Benn-Pavlik :admin WAR!!! At SMW they'd face tougher opposition but would definitely be up there.
They would all walk into the Top 4. Pavlik would of had his work cut out to keep up with these guys. Benn and Pavlik=War and Pavlik crumpling to defeat...for me if Benn could come back and walk through G-Man then he could walk through pretty much anything.
Benn was never the same after G-man though. Realistically Benn/Pavlik could be a toss up if Benn isn't quite on that form, which to be honest was most of the time - that was a one off performance. Benn could have him out early but he could be vulnerable later on if Pavlik weathered it. I'd favour Benn just about. Eubank would likely embarrass Pavlik with his awkward style and speed of counters. Same for Graham if he kept out of the way which I think he would, Pavlik doesn't have one punch power regardless. Watson is difficult to gauge but he'd be right up there. I imagine they'd all do well at SMW too.
I should of said in my previous post pre McClellan Benn could of walked through many things. After the G-Man fight he was never the same...well who would be after a fight like that. Watson would of had great times as well...he could hang with the best of em and showed he could beat them as well. For the Bomber well...he could stand em all on there heads. Eubank-Graham would be a great battle imo...shame it never happened other then in sparring.
Where do you see Calzaghe amongst this lot...:think Didn't Benn say that he would have beaten them all and ruled the World...:yep I must say I have to agree with him...:yep
I remember an article last year, think it was just after Calzaghe retired, where Benn claims Joe would have beaten not only him, but Duran, Hagler, Hearns and Leonard :think
Pavlik wouldn't do well against Eubank. He'd do good against Watson and also Graham, IMO. Benn was all punching power, he'd prob catch Kelly and take him, early. Against Froch and Kessler, mmm. Kessler I've never rated, he does nothing particulatly good and hasn't beaten any decent guys or many prime guys. Kessler doesn't do well against Eubank, he can't with Eubank's movement and sharp countering. Kessler and Pavlik, stand-up operators. Benn he may be able to tee off on with laser punches and keep him off, Kessler, Benn wasn't big or strong at SMW. Watson and Kessler! Interesting one. Graham makes him look a little silly. Froch against the Brits of yesteryear should be the discussion. Tall, very long arms and very heavy hands, but lacking in velocity and technical prowess, as well as defence. I think Benn may hurt him, take him. Eubank would struggle with the size and wide-ish stance. Graham would get in and turn him, clip him and dodge jabs, and do him on points. Watson would beat him with superior technical ability, probably beat him up.
