It stinks that you can just throw money at a 2 failed drugs tests and weasel your way out of a ban.

I hope DAZN **** Eddie off and leave him in boxing wilderness and I hope Benn gets knocked out in his next fight

I remember the day the test result was made public Eddie was saying the fight would go ahead and that if the BBBOFC wouldn't sanction it he would be looking at other options to put the fight on.

Then the next day he was making out like it was his idea to call the fight off and looking at another boxing board was never a route he would take

Be interesting to see the stats for those boxers who are well backed, comparing lengths of bans or getting off on technicalities etc against boxers with little financial backing.

I’m no lawyer but I’ve seen enough movies and my missus recently made me watch 9 seasons of suits so I’m pretty clued up on the law!!

surely if Benn gets away with it like Canelo did that sets presidence. Other banned fighters who have been rightly punished could then sue the board/Hearn etc for loss of earnings/discrimination etc?!!

If Benn does get cleared will be interesting to see what happens with the BBoC and if Conner Benn decides to take legal action against the Board.

If Conor Benn does get off on a technicality and then has the bare faced cheek to take legal action he should be catapulted into the sun along with smarmy twat Hearn strapped to his back

The technicality will probably be VADA didn’t have jurisdiction.

Not sure why we even need a hearing. We've already heard conclusive evidence that he's not that sort of person and that it would be unthinkable that he could do such a thing. That's without even considering his tears in Eddie Hearn's office. What do they have to counter this? Some complicated names and numbers on a so called 'test'? Case dismissed.

Benn was on his way to becoming a star in the uk, then failed two drug tests in the build up to the biggest fight of his life which destroyed his image and cost him millions. If he was innocent and someone else was to blame the details of this would be instantly revealed and the people at fault would be hung drawn and quartered. Benn would be screaming it from the rooftops.

    or

Benn took the drugs and is guilty as sin.

I don’t think that’s it. Would be more about not getting a hearing with the BBoC and lack of due process.

As well as if they have conclusive proof that the Board leaked the test results to the Daily Mail he could go after them for breaking confidentiality.

But he hasn’t been banned without a hearing…he’s yet to be banned at all…

The leak is irrelevant to whether or not he gets banned.
