It's not the tests that are contaminated its Benn - just like Canelo was contaminated with Mexican beef Fury was contaminated with Wild Board(?) and whatever it was Whyte was contaminated with. They are all at it, we know they are all at it, we can see with our own eyes that Benn was at it. It's laughable that this thread has 165 pages on something we already knew, like literally knew. I guess because its Conner Benn, who is a bit of a name and and bit of a twat, our faux outrage has gone through the roof (and the Matchroom haters love it - and to be honest they have clogged this thread up!) At the end of the day less than 100 people care, the rest will watch him, like they do with Canelo, Fury Whyte and all the others...
To be fair from me it is more the handling of it opposed to the fail. As you said most of them are at it
That's not the reason I am still posting on this thread at all. If Conor had held his hands up at the time and said 'I made a mistake and took something I shouldn't have to bulk up to fight a naturally bigger guy' this thread would have been finished long ago. It's the way Benn and Hearn have arrogantly gone about it trying to play the victim whilst hiring a team of lawyers to try and bully their way out of a ban
Has anyone held their hands up and admitted to it? Has anyone not hired a team of lawyers to bully their way out? Canelo, Fury and Whyte did exactly the same... I watch Fury fight. I take it you don't? Jurgen thinks Fury is the greatest heavyweight of the era...but he and his promotor did exactly the same as Benn and his promoter. Fury went away and beat the undefeated in Klitschko, lauded on here as a great achievement (I agree by the way!) while being on the juice! It's ok though isn't it? Or is it just OK for some and not others?
Technically he wasn't on the juice for that fight, he had already been caught. It was the Hammer fight. But i get your point. I just think Benn rubs people up the wrong way also as did Canelo with the whole GGG affair.
Not if you believe the taking of the samples, storing of the samples and testing of the samples is not being properly carried out. I'm not saying I disagree with you but if you doubt the whole process for sample A you would be of the same opinion on sample B, if you truly believe the result of sample A is the result of a flawed process.
I see your point. The B sample is moot if he is not contesting that element. It would be interesting to see how they believe it has process failings twice for the same thing, months apart. If it was a singular test then it would be far more plausible. Also for me, 270 pages is excessive to the point of being underhand. They are trying to drown them in paperwork. Sometimes, less is more. They need to explain why it was found in the system, how it got there, how the process was flawed.
https://talksport.com/sport/boxing/1304800/ricky-hatton-texts-conor-benn/ This here is what really gets to me about Boxing, all current and ex fighters bang on about how hard the game is, how they risk their life when they enter the ring and i appreciate what they're saying is true. However, then when someone fails 2 tests who they know, or who they're friends with they have to keep the same energy and call it out for what it is. Too many ex fighters will now say, oh good Conor's cleared his name when they full well know what's happened, all to keep in the circles that they want to be in. It mutes the point of how dangerous boxing is and how PED's could lead to a death in the ring if they're willing to ignore it for a mate.
Be interesting in Ricky would think the same if Campbell got put in a coma by someone who tested positive for drugs
Exactly that. No tolerance for cheats whether you like them, they're your mate or you just don't want to upset the applecart.
