Benn fails drug test

Benn thinks his vada test was contaminated not once but twice. Despite the fact that nobody else in the vada testing pool has had this happen once. Utter nobhead to think anyone would ever believe that

 

I’m in the minority but I think he’s innocent. My reasoning for this is not based on his evidence - it’s based on the fact that he’s still going on about it despite being cleared to fight. Anyone else would be instructed and has been instructed in the past (Tyson Fury) to not address it and just move on.

You're forgetting one major factor, Conor Benn is clearly a narcissistic, arrogant, entitled spoiled brat who can't stand not getting his own way. Plus he has now shown his hand and reveled there is an end game to all this, which is recouping the money he lost from the Eubank fight by suing the board.

You need to stop being so naive about how ruthless and unscrupulous some people are. Just look at when this first happened, Conor Benn stood in front of the TV cameras and said he had been on the phone to Eubank, who believed him and was happy for the fight to go ahead. This seemed heartfelt and genuine, yet it was a complete lie. This is to go along with all other lies him and Hearn have told about this - it was only one failed test, Eubank and his team were informed of what had happened, the board new and were happy for the fight to go ahead etc etc.

So is he claiming it was a contaminated sample and it was never in his system now? Has he ditched the egg-splanation?

 

Weirdly, there are still people going "he could be innocent" despite all of this.

 

Everyone is going to have their opinion. He’s claiming he never said it was eggs but listed as a possible source.

If the fact the sample was tested 3 times and returned a negative result. Plus he was tested a week later negatively and the b sample was opened without presence of his own rep does not look good. It does all seem like a mess and no one is any clearer as to what has actually happened.

 

It's all a madness. WBC come out and say the positive results could be because of contaminated eggs. Con Bent instead blames VADAs testing procedures. He doesn't confirm or deny that he was eating more eggs. Both the clowns at the WBC and Con Bent are running with two different stories.

I have no idea why the WBC seem to have inserted themselves into this situation either and why Eggie the snake is giving them any sort of credence. They're nothing to do with governing the sport or drug testing.

 

That's just because he's an idiot, nothing to do with being innocent. He's been proven guilty twice and he's protested his innocence just a tad too much now I'd say. The more he talks the more obvious it is that he's guilty, it's the behaviour of a delusional narcissist.

 

If VADA really ****ed up like that shouldn't he be suing them?

If what he is saying is true the repercussions for the lab is question would be massive. Any sample for anything from there will have to be questioned. These guys will probably do criminal cases. Alot of lawyers will be keeping an eye in this.

Incredibly bad luck they did this with both his dirty samples
