Not yet. Eubank loses again, he'll be bang up for a cash-out against Benn anywhere it can be made. The fight never goes away, especially if Benn looks like he might win it. And since it was always a freakshow rather than some kind of eliminator, people will still watch.
Even if that is the case you're still talking about a 2 year ban from October. That'll do nicely, 3 or years be better but I'll take two years instead of nothing. Benn will have no choice but to accept the ban too.
Benn isn't provisionally suspended yet is he? There was enough legal blockage created whilst he was able to let his licence lapse before that could happen. Is he currently training with Simms, which he wouldn't be able to do under suspension or ban? He may also be immune from being drug tested at the moment? I don't think any 2/4yr suspension/ban would even start until he starts to cooperate with UKAD/the board. I think he's gone too far down the rabbit hole for his narcissistic personality to accept this route back to UKAD/Board. If the major licensing bodies hold firm and also threaten to sanction those that work with him, then he's going to be doing "pension fund" fights in the "boxers graveyard". Can't see that lasting long. If it becomes clear he's not going to regain "legit status" then I think EH will have to cut his losses and pull the plug.
Imagine failing a drug test and telling your sport's local body to **** off. I don't know what Matchroom FC and Benn were thinking. Especially when they don't control the narrative via the sky sports control anymore.

Interesting the bits around people assisting him continuing his career, poor Eddie looks really snookered here.
