    Boxing News editor Matt Christie had a right push back at Eddie Hearn today.

    He refuted claims that either the BBBC or UKAD had leaked news of Benn's suspension to Boxing News, writing "that he cannot posisbly know. Considering it is an opinion he has dressed up as fact in several interviews it is important to point out that this is untrue...Hearn went on to say that Benn is unlikely to get a fair trial from UKAD if they or the Board are leaking information." Obviously, it's disturbing to see him make the "Fair trial" claim based upon something that is completely made up.

    Christie went even further in reporting that neither organisation will even talk to BN about the case while the promoter pretends that they are leaking information on the case.

    I read that, good article. Frank Warren recently said BN is rubbish.

    If he's annoyed Frank and Eddie he's doing right.

    I'd wind Frank up and get Terry Marsh to cover Queensbury shows.

I didn’t know what to say. I didn’t know what to do, and I was probably making it worse because I’m talking from the heart. I’m opening up. It’s hard. I know how it looks but I’ll never [hold my hands up and say I cheated when I believe I didn’t"

    The fact he says the word "believe" in his last sentence just convinces me that even he isn't sure of his own innocence. If he definitely believes he is not guilty, he would have said that with a lot more vigour and not softened it with the word "believe".

    The walls are closing in on him and his deserved 2 year ban.
