Did you have the same energy for Tyson when he popped dirty, nearly buried UKAD, and then brought books out about his "depression"?
It's not the taking PED's that bothers me so much as most of them are at it, it's the way Benn and Hearn have conducted themselves afterwards that really riles me. I'm sure a lot of other people feel the same. Same with how Whyte vs Rivas went down. Yes Whyte got popped but do you really think Rivas is not also juiced up? Of course he is, just look at him ffs. But the way Hearn tried to weasel his way around it and keep it quiet shows what a fraud and a hypocrite he is on this issue. If that was one of his fighters and another promoter did that he'd be screaming blue murder, while Tony Bellend would probably be calling for the death penalty. And yes, Tyson Fury is also a PED user, a liar and a hypocrite.
It's great to have 2 upstanding honourable fighters like Conor Benn and Tyson Fury flying the flag for British boxing
This whataboutery with Fury is very boring tbh. Fury was found guilty. Now we can have serious conversations about the punishments he had not really being a punishment but fact remains, he is a drug cheat. Same with Canelo, whose 6 months ban might as well have been 1 week for the effect it had. Still a drug cheat Benn case is more comparable to Dillan Whyte's second case, but nobody wants to make that comparison because they are both Matchroom affiliated. Funny that
CB/EH would also not like the comparison to the Whyte case because a passed VADA test were cited by the defence to discredit the UKAD test he failed. So VADA tests are OK to use in a case if they are negative, but not if they are positive. Funny that too.
I do ! Don't want any life threatening damage done, obviously. But I would love it if he got ****ing battered pillar to post, battered so much he had to retire and ended up broke. What would top it off is if somehow matchroom went down in flames too, the whole lot of them affiliated with it are scum.
Not quite Both times someone within UKAD leaked the adverse finding rather than going through the usual drawn out process. Instead this turned what would typically happen behind closed doors into trial by media. The Whyte situation was a case of WBC not recognising UKAD. This was demonstrated when they allowed Molina to fight in a title eliminator against Dominic Breazeale whilst suspended by UKAD. WBC instead rely on testing by VADA. VADA cleared Whyte. So, rightly or wrongly, there was no justification for what the WBC did except for being yet another way to protect Wilder from having to take on a mandatory. Also, UKAD released a statement that pointed to a lab error in the Whyte case. That is a pretty big thing to admit to for a testing agency...
Mate, I can't stand Fury. Told you loads of times. It's not difficult to understand so no idea why you think I like him Just for future reference I think he's a drug cheat, ducking Usyk, full of shyte and a compulsive liar.
So the big news on him being cleared was in fact no actual evidence from any of the drug testing companies and he’s been licensed in another country
unsurprisingly there was no leak before Benn realeased his statement on Friday. if the decision went the other way the media would have ran the story as it would have been leaked
