Great post and spot on. This is what Simon Jordan was close to doing, but he isn't a journalist and couldn't keep his opinions to himself. Rob Tebbutt lost access for asking a few too many questions at Fight Camp. Seem to remember Hearn jokingly telling him he wouldn't be back, and I don't recall seeing him interview Hearn since. Andi's done a very professional job here - no agenda, just asking straight interview questions to get to the truth. I hope with Boxing News behind him, they're too influential to be ignored.
I think when you're the outlet that doesn't get invited to sit in promoters offices to conduct interviews, you know you're doing a good job. Hearns gotten a little bit too comfortable in having the other YouTube outlets at his mercy, he lost his cool and temper over such a simple line of questioning there and answered a lot more by doing that. I'm expecting him to try and reverse it now with Andi and in his next interview be all jokey and matey and use the excuse of 'you got me at the end of a long day etc'. Once he watches that back, which he will, he won't be happy with his performance. It's what he used to be so critical of Warren for.
Probably the same reason he's doing the interview with no top on and his cap back to front. Because he's a ****.

Hearn keeps saying benn is skint and then benn is filmed with two expensive kettles on his wrists. Just make it make sense haha
He will be down the food banks with Dillian after he was on the wrong end of the purse split with Fury. My heart bleeds
I don't, even now, think Matchroom expected this much pushback and criticism about Benn fighting this weekend. They've lost the power to spin the narrative these days. Hearn used to be on SkySports News, all the YouTube outlets, TalkSport with his mate Laura Woods and was largely able to spin whatever he like unchallenged. However now, he's lost SkySports and they seem as keen as most to stick the boot in. There's certainly a far more honest narrative now he's not their man. TalkSport actually now go out of their way to stick it to him and there's no way that's going to change with the current back and forth. These two outlets alone speak to a more casual audience than all the YouTube ones put together and there's just no controlling the narrative anymore and they hate it. 99.9% of social media comments on anything Matchroom do at the minute are negative and that's not a good look.
