I can add that I spend 2 - 3 hours on the phone every day with contacts from all over the world and I have spoken to 25 - 30 people who want to cast cement blocks around Eddie Hearn's feet and throw him into the ocean. He has so many enemies and most point out that he changed around the years 2017 - 2018. He started to believe that he was the greatest of all promoters. All negotiations were to be in his favor, etc. etc.

 

The fact Benn said that UKAD don't have his new defence leads me to believe it is jurisdiction but I don't know for definite.

They all play that game though. Hearn's standard answer is "I can't say anything because it's confidential, but it wasn't jurisdiction". Given there is nothing to contradict him, it goes round in circles. They'd all be better saying nothing and waiting for the appeal.

The only actual debate to be had here is a moral one and let's face it, nobody's going to win that debate with a promoter.

 

I'd rather see Channel 4 do an investigation into how and why snakes like Ian John Lewis come up with the completely inexplicable score cards they do. But we all know that would likely have some very serious implications for some high profile people in boxing.

So people aren't allowed to believe Benn is guilty because it was behind closed doors and all parties are bound to confidentially but you can believe he’s innocent

Not what I said at all. Believing Benn is guilty is one thing, claiming things happened in a hearing that one wasn't privy too as fact is just straight up guesswork and finding the easiest thing they believe would be appealed.

Now saying the NADP cleared Connor Benn to resume his fighting career is fact. Whether one things it was right or wrong, what we do know is it happened.

Personally I believe Jordan and Co keep saying it because it hasn't turned out how they expected.

Before they were saying 'Benn has to face the process with UKAD and the reason he won't is because of strict liability and Benn has no answer for that'. None of them were mentioning Benn could get off down to jurisdiction.

He then goes through the Ukad process and the result wasn't what they expected so now are trying to do there best to discredit it.
