Benn fails drug test

A young Mexican will always move up the weights. He was 6"1 and Benn hadn't fought in 18 months. It was good for Benn to shake ring-rust off. It wasn't that bad of a performance at all. Everyone wants to fight Benn as it's a big fight. More people were interested in the return of Benn against a Mexican journeyman in a 10-rounder in the US than in Joyce rematching Zhang which did dreadful numbers at the Wembley Arena for such a big fight (that's what happens when you don't invest in the undercard).

They really weren’t. Quite a lot of my mates (casuals with barely any interest in boxing) watched Joyce, none of them even knew Benn was back fighting.

 

He isn't massive, and he also isn't very good. No spin can change either of those facts.

God he’s such a ***** with his more people were interested in Conor Benn than Joyce rubbish. Joyce was sandwiched in between Man Utd and UFC prime time on TNT while Benn had to be pretty much smuggled out of the UK at a couple of days notice because he should be serving a 4 year ban to box in a school assembly hall on a channel which no one subscribes to including that twat poster himself.

 

You’re right mate. A lot of my pals watched Burnley v Man U and kept the channel on to watch boxing. This is why DAZN UK will never be successful unless they get the Premier League rights.

Agree and as we have said before if they had bought BT Sports, as it then was, they would have had 25% of that and also the Champions League which would have been great for new subscribers.
