I see they’ve stuck Bosh Fisher on the undercard in the hope they’ll get a few hundred of the Essex mob to help fill the 700 seats.

 

It's asking a lot to get the Bosh Army to travel to Vegas for a fight tbh

 

Might spare us some of the chicken fried rice nonsense though, can't see Vegas having too many back-street takeaways willing to send a half-ton order round.

I actually quite like Fisher - he was decent summarising the fights on TalkSport last weekend - and respect the drawing power he brings. Just can't bear the whole "bosh" nonsense his dad seems to keep going, although good luck to them if they turn a coin off it.

Glad to hear it. Young Johnny seems like a good sort and seems to know his boxing too. Anytime I've seen him on the mic he's made a lot of sense.

They couldn’t put this fight on in the UK where it would have generated some decent income as to fight here you need a British boxing licence.

Does anyone know if Conor intends on re-applying for his British licence? It looks a lot like it’s a stand off situation now, and could rumble on for another 6 months.

No way does putting Conor Benn fights on in LA make any financial sense at the level of opponent that he wins fights at. So erm, looks like Hearn’s potential next PPV cash cow is now a loss maker.

Which means in all likelihood Benn fights only twice next year and neither of them will be in the UK. And Hearn will do his nut on both shows.

1) - No **** Sherlock, we all know this as the thread is the best part of 500 pages
2) - Benn is a scumbag and I doubt any of us know or care if he is reapplying for his licence
3) - Vegas isn’t in Los Angeles.

 

It’s annoying but with todays society you can become rich and famous for doing pretty much nothing on social media so if people are daft enough to lap it up and pay for meet & greets and video messages etc then fair play.

 

For the boxers, it is about creating a profile and in this case the father has been very skilled and helped his son.
