"If he'd opened up instead of surviving I'd have got him". That sums up Benn, people are there to be "destroyed" rather than fought.
Hearn talking waffle again, this is shocking but not surprising, jeez, these two are embarrassing themselves now.
Well Benn looked quick at the start, was using jab well first part of fight. Dobson very durable, took a lot good shots but took them very well. Dobson who grew with confidence when he finally landed a decent shot at the end of the 5th. Dobson went onto wins the sixth, Benn did look very tired from 7th onward, but with Benns speed, aggression and was able to put work in some of later rounds but also lost a few.
I found it very funny when Benn said he had harder spars. He couldn't open Dobson up and when they did exchange Dobson also threw back and landed several uppercut. Once you take Benn's jab to the body and overhand right away, he is a very limited boxer. Was brilliant watching him labour to totwelve rounds there. He looked crestfallen as well
Because he taking hard shots from Benn well, Dobson corner at the end of 5th (were landed his first decent shot on Benn) stated to Dobson something along the lines of "he can't hurt you, he's done". Then Dobson wins the 6th.
Didn’t watch this fight but Benn had a good KO streak which seems to have been the result of a mix of serious drug use and clever matchmaking and got carried away thinking he’s some sort of 147 Golovkin.
