I was flicking through social media and noticed someone posting Benn bearing Algieri, suggesting that this Benn would beat Tank.

This was on TikTok where a lot of the comments can be sensible and pretty scathing, but no, it’s full of sheep saying Benn would destroy him, will be world champion, too big too strong etc etc. Now we know where Eddie will get the PPV sales from (the users’ parents at least!)

 

That's just Dramashow posting on multiple accounts like Eddie Hearn has told him to.

 

Why doesn't he just call out the top dogs at 147? Oh yeah.

Unfortunately, it seems that Conor Benn will miss the chance to meet Tank. What a shame.

 

Hearn said Benn v Davis would be PPV and Davis could have earned upto 25M! Not a chance I’m hell would he earn that. The flight would flop massively.

Hearn completely forgets that Davis is a 135lb fighter!

 

Weight classes don't seem to matter anymore, all these chodes talking about Crawford v Canelo for example.
But on this one, Benn probably genuinely thinks Davis doesn't want the smoke

Associate your over hyped fighter with a list of world class fighters and 1 absolutely finished old timer,or someone with a massively padded record - then arrange the fight with the weakest link and claim the world class fighters 'don't want that smoke innit Koogs' - this sport is laughable at times

Shame it's not BoxNation-era Frank promoting Benn, because by now we'd have an hour-long IFL video with Frank showing loads of printed emails with the various offers he's made... "they don't wannit Kugan"

The fact Hearn thinks a non title fight involving boring Jack Catterall is Box Office must set the red lights flashing for boxing fans.

Any fights with 1 non elite fighter in the ring should never be Box Office for me.

 

Has he retired or am I hallucinating again?

One bright side, should he take a fall in this one we may finally get an answer as to whether his hair is really an oversized Lego wig or not. I will have a sizeable sum resting on the reveal of a plastic nodule allowing Danny to instantly switch hairstyles or mix things up with a fireman or policeman's hat instead.

 

Danny Garcia hasn't trained seriously for a long time so even the Conor Benn version who hasn't eaten eggs should be able to get the win.
