Eddie did say.. fails a drug test and goes through with the fight, luckily that wasn't the case with CB.

There have been multiple claims that there is to be a hearing in October (this month).

 

Hearn and Sauerland did everything they could to get that fight to go ahead. It was only that the Benn positive test became so public that eventually forced them to abandon the fight. Their only regret would be that word got out.

 

I think the fact CEJ and his team still wanted the fight to go on is probably the difference here.

 

Eubank, understandably wanted to get paid as its millions he lost out on.

Let's not pretend they covered up the first failed test and didn't tell anybody. It was only the 2nd test that was revealed at the time.

 

Let's also not pretend this hasn't happened before, on a PPV event where the fight went ahead and most people are none the wiser.
