But CEJ and Shalom still moan like merry hell that hey are being made to make this weight or that weight, a rehydration clause, CB is a drug cheat etc , don't sign a contract like that then and agree to fight under those conditions, simple.

 

One of them throws a punch? Someone spit at the other? I don't see either of them being stupid enough with everyone around to begin throwing punches at one another, could be more smacks, neck grabbing, verbal abuse but it's all similar in the frame work, some may considering one thing worse then the other and vice versa.

Show me proof where Benn is getting more money and I'll hold my hands up and admit I was wrong. It can't be anything that has come out of Eddie Hearn's mouth.

 

I think Schlong needs to stand up for himself a little more. He needs to treat Eddie, how Eddie treats him. Like something on the bottom of his shoe.

Basically Eddie is a pr1ck with people he cannot control or talk over. All these fighters and youtuber media guys, he runs rings around them because they're quite thick. Anyone else, he gets wound up, like David Haye, Eubank Jr, Carl Frampton, George Groves and sometimes Ben Shalom.

Becuase the above fighters know the BS that comes out his mouth.

So I have a request... I'm doing my best to avoid any talk of the upcoming Eubank fight, because the whole thing turns my stomach. Not standing in judgment of those who think different, each to their own, but it does mean I've lost track of what, if anything, has happened with regard to the failed drugs tests? Have they just been swept under the carpet? Is there any ongoing process? Or is the whole thing done and dusted and Benn fighting on a UK BBBoC card with no penalty paid? Anyone able to clue me in?

 

Only real thing of note to happen recently was Eubank asking him how they got in his system
To which captain lack of self awareness Benn said it's none of his business

 

The only answer we hear is 'cleared to fight' and that's probably all we will ever get. I wouldn't be surprised If Benn's main defence was about contamination, but he can't talk about that in public because that would be criticising VADA/WBC which is 'biting the hand that feeds him' . I find it very interesting how he shot up the WBC rankings without fighting anyone just after his ban. There's definitely something dodgy going on there.

 

On the one hand I like Eubank pushing this line, butI really wish he'dhad told them where to stick the fight, because now his entirely justified questioning of Benn's test failure is inevitably going to be tainted by the feeling that he's using it to sell their fight. I think a lot of the money that comes in to this will be from people who despise how Benn has acted and want to see Chris administer some punishment in the ring, sadly that will just ensure the money pours in for Benn and Hearn.

Presumably he's been well prepped on what he can and can't say? His WBC ranking is ludicrous. One horrendous showing in a Las Vegas casino and all of a sudden he's reckoned to be a top contender.

 

We are being lead to believe Eubank and Hearn have a £1m bet on the outcome of the fight. I take that with a grain of salt. Anything to promote a fight.

 

It's just a theory that's probably BS, but I had this idea that the WBC/VADA looked at Conor's case and thought he might have a point about contamination, but they didn't want to admit anything publicly as they are meant to be the 'gold standard' of drug tests. They then give him the egg excuse, which he doesn't want to use as it still makes him guilty with the BBBofC due to strict liability and also clomid isn't used in UK eggs. Conor's team have to hold there tongues until finally all the NDA's are signed and talks are behind closed doors with the independent panel and he won't be publicly criticizing the WBC/VADA. And the reason for not wanting to talk badly about the WBC/VADA to the press is they have promised him a good ranking and have lined him up for a title shot for him in the future. Probably all nonsense, but the fact he's been so aggressive towards the BBofBC and everyone except the WBC/VADA, and the fact he's so high up on the rankings without fighting anyone while being so inactive is very sketchy.
