I always say cruel *******s like that, the kind who put animals through pain deserve the same back. i didn't know about this before, i should say he deserves all he has got, sounds like a total scumbag.
So he didn't torture dogs then? As I said I am all up for a balanced view here. I wan't to like G-Man, who wouldn't? From a boxing point of view he's pure gold for the fans, but from what I've read he comes across as one god awful sadistic *******. I can dig all that power-punching, heart in the ring stuff, but as a person he just comes across as a ****.
I read a story somewhere about him staying at a flash country club in America that had flamingoes roaming the grounds, McClellan apparently used to take great delight in mowing them down in his RV - he'd be killing the poor ****ers whilst laughing his demented bollocks off. One of his associates was actually quoted as saying "Gerald likes killin' things" I always say this in McClellan threads but I'll say it again, I get great satisfaction every time his name is brought up, knowing that he's currently sitting covered in his own drool, and sitting in a pile of his own ****. What goes around comes around :deal
ok, i tried but your clearly not getting it. If you had an encounter with him fair enough but your just going off all the other stuff. whatever
Yes release it because i feel it's not only a great fight but a chance for McClellan to earn from it and also the man wants to be remembered as a warrior as a champion as in a interview done which is on youtube he asks numerous times was i good? was i champion?. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGz-unNi1dU We can't sweep incidents like this fight under the carpet we all know it's a cruel sport and what was learned from this fight has saved many others in British rings. I understand people that will say they can't watch it as they feel the ending was tragic and they refuse to watch. In my opinion i watch it back and beat my chest at two modern day warriors laying it on the line and sadly one got hurt but by not watching it it doesn't mean it wasn't a classic fight.
Wasn't McClellan supposed to be showing signs of becoming mentally ill before the Benn fight? Is this what is used to "justify" the animal abuse or were there other signs he was losing it?
If the "other stuff" comes from reliable sources, and no one refutes it, what's the problem? I've never met Hitler, but I'm pretty sure that from what I've read he's a nailed-on **** of a ****er. I'm not comparing G-Man to Hitler, but you get my drift.
Yes, I also heard the flamingo story, and the quote "Gerald likes killin' things" also stuck in my head. They had a discussion on this in the Classic Forum a while back, the title was something like "The Bad Men of Boxing".
That's a profanity I've never used before, nice imagination with the swear words there mate, you have my admiration. I'm going to use that one myself next chance I get.
yes, release it. Anyone who says they don't watch it because of the outcome are being hypocrits. It's the same as tucking into a big fat juicy steak for lunch, but at the same time saying you would never kill an animal for food. Boxing is dangerous, people get seriously injured. There's no point in denying the truth and sweeping it under the carpet as if it never happens.
your friend sounds like an idiot. making a dog agressive does not make him game. what your friend is creating is a dog with unreliable temperment and those dogs are worthless for anything other than killing chickens.
