    Eubank fought Benn himself (twice!), Rocchi in Berlin and Thompson at cruiser, and hard-hitting young Calzaghe on a weeks notice.

    A lot of fighters don't like praising the fighters that beat them. Of course Jones was faster than Eubank, but Thornton got knocked down and thoroughly outclassed in the Jones bout whereas he put up a great effort in the Eubank fight in which he thought he won. Of course he isn't gonna say Jones is the fastest.

    The thing with benn is that no matter how fast jones was or how hard he hit Benn always came back and although the majority would have picked jones you can never count benn out.

    Eubank - Jones would have been a mega fight though. id go with a jones UD but Eubank like Benn proved to have stunning power and was the better boxer

    Yep whenever Benn was dropped, he got straight back up ready to swing and land. Whenever he was stunned or hurt, still swinging (and landing!). Amazing fighter.

    He wasn't. He looked excellent against in the Collins fights flaunting that flamboyant bob-and-weave style, and threw possibly the best punch he threw in his career (and that's saying something!) to KD Malinga because it was such a perfectly-timed counter power shot.

    He just had no tactics, that's all, just like he had no tactics against Logan, Watson or Barkley.
