Benn has got talent but I don't see great boxing skills in him, he struggles to throw a straight right and prefers to wing it instead, I mean come on, it's not difficult is it FFS.
Eubank in this condition a top 5 of anything is very hard to believe. He probably lost a lot of what he was physically by opting to stay in this weight class forever to chase the stupid Benn fight. Moneywise it panned out for him. Middleweight is indeed one of the weakest weight classes right now but let eubank (or Benn if you like) fight against Alimkhanuly and it won't last long. Eubank is not what he was with the punch resistance and physicality he had. And Benn is only physicality and instinct. So putting Eubank in the top 5 of middleweight in order to say that he would be competitive with the real top of the division is just wrong in my view. He would not be competitive. I think if ggg came back from his two and a half year break at 43 to fight against Eubank, he probably wins it
I just got off the phone with Eubank and he has agreed that anyone saying he punches like a girl is very welcome to take three punches off of him. Write your names down 1. Miniq 2.
What is wrong with entertainment, we all knew the fight was meaningless, but it was action packed, and that cannot be said for many fights we have witnessed
He's limited but his style is entertaining. Can take a punch and give one. If he learns how to counter off a slip he'll do ok.
They both suck. Their entire career built up to this one fight and they put on a great show. They'll have the rematch and walk away very wealthy, but there's no legacy.
It was an entertaining event but there are weight classes for a reason. What is the point of a rematch? Benn bulked up as much as he could Eubank drained as much as he could and the size difference was huge. I don't think Eubank will drain so much again which would spell bad news for Benn.
