Formella pts/Babic stoppage double is what I’ll be backing. Looking forward to it tonight though, be interesting to see if Benn is near this level and it’d be a great win for him if he did do the business
I'm tempted by formella stoppage.. Wasn't benn on his ass against peynaud a few times.. N he's not exactly packing dynamite
If it was a 12 rounder i'd be more confident in the stoppage, there's a chance Benn gasses and gets comprehensively picked apart, countered and stopped
Benn looked rather impressive, I was expecting a tough fight but he was in control the whole way. If it was a 12 rounder then he probably would have got the ko. The performance proved quite a lot of doubters wrong. Having said all that, every time he spoke including in the captions in the preview he just sounds like an utter bellend. He’s trying so hard to be like his dad, he constantly feels the need to claim he’s this or he’s that, anything that his dad had a reputation for being. Conor will never be a fan favourite like his dad, despite being an exciting fighter as he just sounds like a ***** every time he talks. It’s a shame really as he doesn’t need to act like that.
I enjoyed his post fight interview, he was ramped up which is to be expected after just going 12 rounds in your biggest fight to date and spoke from the heart. You see too many sportsman giving the same old boring cliche answers during interviews, refreshing to hear someone just tell it how it is.
