Being at long range would be a mistake for Ben because of Tommy`s long jab and straight right hand, his 1-2`s were better than Benn`s and his reach was much longer than Benn`s or anybody Benn ever fought. Nobody ever beat Tommy on the outside, not even Hagler who had a better jab than Benn and a longer reach, Hagler had to come on the inside.

Benn would likely be at long range because of Tommy’s jab, but it might not affect benn as much as you would think because he would regularly throw long range power shots

I don't dispute any of that at all. But Benn lunging and leaping at Hearns trying to take his head off.

In no way can my minds eye see Hearn surviving the onslaught!

It might have gone like the Roldan fight.

Tell me if Benn`s arms were bigger and stronger than Hagler`s after looking at my avatar, Benn had skinny calfs.

It would be a massacre...basically the 1st Barkley fight but with a finish.

At best fir Benn its another Roldan scenario.

Either way it ends with Benn lying face first for the ten count

Benn doesn't have the chin to get up and come back against Hearns...he was saved by a long count against Mclellan, as much as I hate Mclellan, and that's a guy coming up in weight.

    Hearns KO

The 1st Barkley fight? You mean Tommy was winning the Barkley fight but the difference would be the way it would finish v Benn, right?
