Benn v McLellan documentary commissioned by ITV

Incredible and about time. Can't wait. I hope all the rare footage comes out and it is compelling viewing. I also hope they advertise the hell out of it because alot of people (non boxing fans) will remember.

Benn was an emotional guy. The pre fight build up was just hype to him - doesn't matter if it was Watson, Eubank or McClellan.

filming is meant to start in April.

but looking at the trailer, I'm sure they have taken stuff from a previous documentary.

 

Looks like a great watch, stuff like this really is a tragedy. It's a shame that Nigel has had to deal with his guilt partly due to the incompetence of the corner in McLellan's Corner and if it is true that he was flown home to early, then also to the people who put him on that plane.

 

That trailer looks awesome. Can't wait to watch the full documentary.

Read the book , it was sad seeing benn meeting Mclellan in that trailer , Mclellan's sister said in the book benn would never be aloud to see Gerald at that time.

it would be great if this got on TV.

 

Lisa McCllellans logic is ******ed.

She trys to say Benn is practically a murderer.

She is obviously hurt - by whats happened to her brother - but has no grace in accepting - when you get into a ring - you take a risk - or in McCllellans own words.......

"In war you have to be prepared to die - and thats what boxing is"

She has no forgiviness in her heart for Benn - and of course Benn is completely innocent and a warrior.

And Lisa McCllellan is a deluded unforgiving cold hearted person.

 

It's just American arrogance.
