Benn vs Eubank - Nearly finalised

They've been promoting him since about 2016. I've no doubt part of that included a retainer, training costs and so on - and although he's had a couple of decent main events they weren't exactly paying back 7 years worth. This was everyone's big payoff from Benn's career.

 

Sure I read they gave him an advance on the Eubank fight, hence why they want pay back

 

Yep. Eddie lost a million or so quid from the 1st failed Eubank fight. He definitely wants that back.

Plus, he wants the money he has paid to him over the last few years in the form of cash out fights which has helped the arrogant tosser, finance Rolls Royces, Porsches and live a first class luxury lifestyle.

That's why their net was cast so wide and so randomly. Pacquiao, Brook, Thurman, Errol Spence lol, and today Josh Taylor.

It's purely about money and greed now and he's not hiding it.

 

Broner said Al Haymon did this to him. Give him advances. Come fight night, Broner surely would get hardly anything. That's why he's broke now.

Why on earth would Benn need advances unless his lifestyle he's trying to carve out for himself is far beyond his income.

That probably explains why he's acting like a complete cnt and trying to goad any boxer who can get him a few mill. Eubank is obliging.

 

Yesterday Benn was moving to 160, today he’s calling out super lightweights and when they respond he accuses them of just wanting a payday

The day Benn gets knocked out I might retire from watching boxing. It won’t get any better than that.

 

An absolutely disgusting fight which shouldn't be taking place. I think it is also quite a dangerous fight where somebody could end up seriously hurt. Boxing nowadays resembles WWE and it is one of the reasons I rarely watch the sport anymore.

 

And surely Eubank has breached his rematch contract with Smith, what consequences will he face?

imo this fight is being pushed due to DAZN wanting a return on profit as soon as possible. I genuinely don't believe Eddie would've done this several years ago. Yes there was GGG-Brook but that fight was different in several key ways, and while Brook was expected to loose and maybe even get hurt, I don't think anyone thought GGG would break things in him that would never get fixed. I'm sure Kalle is just as guilty

 

It's a fight that the boxing world is demanding koogz

 

Ignoring the fact that Benn is a dirty little drug cheat, it’s also a crap fight. Weight drained fighter coming off a KO loss vs someone who’s never won a British title jumping up 2 weight divisions. Has zero impact on the boxing landscape. A shameless cash grab built on a fake rivalry because their dads didn’t get on 30 years ago.

 

Of course he would've done it years ago, it's all about the money and he knows Been isn't that good or on off drugs
