Yes, mate, I was a subscriber, once upon a time. I subscribed specifically to watch Josh Warrington get stomped for the second time by that vicious Mexican lad, Lara. The whole event was such bosh, I unsubscribed again that very evening. True story.
I did but unsubscribed after the price rise. The only UK fighter scheduled is that card in Sheffield. Terrible value
According to the DAZN website Matchroom will put on a minimum of 16 UK shows a year... just checked and there will have been 9 by September. The Sheffield show is in 2 weeks and still has 6 TBA’s on. Even better the highest ranked male fighter in their respective division on the card is Vasil Ducar who is ranked 53 at Cruiserweight and has a fight scheduled for a few weeks later so will obviously come with no ambition.
Isn't it a bit too harsh to label Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn as "an irrelevant catchweight fight" ? The fight will probably sell many PPVs.
So they don't believe in Benn Jnr's ability at world level? Bit too early in his career for gimmick fights.
No thanks, it’s fights like this and all the jake Paul rubbish that is killing this sport, add all the different channels and stupid ppv prices, and for that reason I’m out
People getting fed up. MMA on the rise. O2 Arena sold out this weekend before they even announced who was headlining I believe.
The second biggest PPV of all time was also an irrelevant catch-weight fight, but like this one it’s an attraction that people will pay to see.
This should be free to air, on Saturday night, on ITV2 or something, if they really want to replicate their Dad's era in some form, because the boxing isn't going to stand up. But at least it would be free to the viewer. The lads can make a few grand of the advertising revenue if they need the cash, as well as ticket sales. They should probably buy Ford Fiesta's or something at their level, rather than the Ferrari's they think they deserve.
