    Steele outboxes him. Pre-injuries Steele was durable as Hell so I’m sure he gets through some tough spots and wins a decision over 15. No debate to be had here IMO

Beat Gorilla Jones...Babe Risko...Fred Apostoli...Ceferino Garcia...Ken Overlin...Gus Lesnevich...Solly Krieger...etc, Good boxer and a good puncher...lost 2 fights in the first 10 years of his career..champ from 1936 to 1938..he beats Bennie...

    Gotta take the higher class and form of Steele here. His record as he aged from a legitimate teenager into a man is incredible.

    Go with Steele on this one, overall better fighter, and Briscoe always seemed to lose his big fights. With the exception of Monzon in Argentina

    Steele looks stiff but he's faster than Bennie. Steele seems to be a higher caliber athlete. whether by tko or points, Steele wins

    Freddie Steel in a great action filled fight. Freddie has the physical tools to keep Briscoe from working his game. He takes a solid decision over Benny. Freddie used his height well and had to much speed and power for the smaller Briscoe to cope with.

    This would be a great trilogy.
