    Aye, it looks like he's guarding against a low blow, and putting his other glove over his stomach. Moran would not be a top ten heavy today.

    Nos. 1-3 Roberto Duran 4. Benny Leonard 5. Ike Williams 6. Joe Gans 7. Barney Ross 8. Tony Canzonari 9. Alexis Arguello 10. Henry Armstrong (this far down because after Ambers, even though he weighed lightweight he concentrated on defending the welter title).

    I've been saying this for yonks!

    But yes, Leonard is the bomb. He just flat out has far more quality opponents.

    This video is from his comeback when was no longer at his peak.
    He was only boxing becuse he needed the money. He lost it in the stock market crash of 1929. He probbly did not have as much money as he clamed to have. However he may not have been exgrating about the number of friends. Benny Leonard was a first class person as well as a great boxer.
