Greg, I agree wholeheartedly with your plan for Chang to beat Lynch.

Good, if im doing the corner you do the spit bucket.:lol:

Being the stronger man could play a bigg part in this fight, as if you pushed back your opponent you mgith look liek you are getting the better of the exchanges. Hence why the changes of angles are needed to catch Lynch off balance and force him back a step to get his balance fully back.

I do it all the time in bigger guys in sparring, and everyone thinks im strong :lol:

Thing is, Lynch seems able to slip punches with slight adjustments and slips, and is able to strike back at odd angles.

He hit harder than Chang IMO. They both hit hard enough to gain each others respect IMO.

Yes, Lynch also had a chin of granite and IMO could stand up to Vhangs punches better.

I honestly dont know mate, I'm up north in Aberdeenshire - Lynch is down in Glesga.

I've been in the Gorbals - Lynchs home slum- once and it was passing through it and it looks all done up now and I did not see any memorial or anything.

Although I have heard Peter Harrison has opened up a Scottish Boxing Hall Of Fame in his boxing gym, I could get you contact details for that.

Lynch was a much bigger puncher than Chang, no doubt about that. This is a great clash of styles, and would no doubt make for an action-packed fight. I think Chang had the ability to close the distance and make it an in-fight, which would limit his chances of being clipped by one of those long, looping overhand rights and left hooks. Lynch put everything into his shots, and unless film I haven't seen proves otherwise, I'm not sure he'd have had the ability to mix it up on the inside as well as he did at mid-range considering he wouldn't be able to wind up as much. He was just so unorthodox at that distance with those power shots that any boxer-puncher stood a real chance of being caught off guard. Someone like Chang might be able to nullify that with his in-fighting game and defensive awareness at mid range. He might be able to close the distance well enough to take Lynch's effectiveness away. Then again he'd more than likely go down at least once in the fight, as it's difficult to see him slipping every one of those bombs. Hell of a scrap it would make, for sure.

I'd just like to say that I was wrong. I do think Lynch would beat Canto.
