I think Parets great speed brings him success early on however as the fight continues the hitman catches up and lands a bomb knocking out 'the kid'. Thoughts?
Benny was so strong and such a great inside fighter that the lure of Hearn's ribs would be too much for him to resist. Once inside I could see him tear away, but Hearns' straight right is a terrible gauntlet to run in order to get there and defense was never Paret's forte. Hearns within 5.
This is tough. Paret was never knocked out early in his prime, but never faced someone as powerful as Hearns before. On the other hand, Paret has more experience in the later rounds, and definitely can take a lot more punishment than Hearns can. I do not have a big favorite tbh. In a way I lean towards Paret because he took a lot of rounds to soften up for a knockout, and I think by the time Hearns would have him softened up, he would be too tired himself. If Hearns wins, I have him stopping Paret from 8-10. If Paret wins, it's by a knockout from 10-12, maybe a decision.
