what happens in this fight how and why? i feel benvenuti is the better boxer but jake is both mentally and physically tougher.Lamotta soaks up all nino gives him and then takes him apart late in the fight.
Depends. Nino at his best is certainly good enough to beat Jake but he didn´t show up at his best that often. In a series of 3 fights I´d go with Jake to win two. Nino may win his more convincing though.
My thoughts exactly, whatever Benvenuti could dish out, LaMotta would take, and proceed to batter Nino, either by UD or late round KO.
