Much like Ali Tyson understood entertainment. In that respect he was a throwback. Tyson's legend will only get better with age. As just like Ali notoriety and the ability to humiliate your opponents will always put bums on seats. Back that up with right braggadocio and you have a sure fire recipe for success.

 

He unified all the belts. Was Linear. Was the youngest heavy champ of all time. A 2 time heavyweight champ. In the HOF. And will be a lock for the top 10 greatest of all time. Id say he lived up to his potential very well. Although Mike had so much talent he could have been far greater if Don King and co were not around and Cus hadn't died. But that's life.

The Tyson brand still sells better than any other heavyweight - Klitschkos included. That's how huge he was and still is. I get appearance requests for him on a daily basis and we've just had 2000 pairs of branded gloves manufactured for the WBC convention in December alone. Fans can't get enough of him.

 

No it's still in it's poly hard loader. I've got the only 2 that have been dual signed, one was Kevin Rooneys & the other Steve Lotts. I bought a pile of signed posters from steve about 5 years ago & when Tyson brought out his book & never metioned Steve he sold me the posters he had on his office wall. Steve thought well ahead, he kept everything that Tyson ever wore or touched, plan tickets to japan, Tyson's hotel receipts, any & every bit of worn attire pre-fight & fight night from the very beginning. He's unloading it all now at yank auction houses.

I've found at last the framer who i'd entrust to handle & frame it, i've heard about posters being "Matted" like paintings so they can be rolled up, expensive procces which also protects the paper. Not many framers know about the proccess so just shows you how much their expertise level is as they paste posters down & a cowboy will have yer poster bubbled up within a year. I'd love to get close to Beckem or Abramovitch so i could suck 100K+ outer them for it which it would get no bother if put into the right placed charity auction attended by footie stars & other assorted high rollers. It's one of those iconic posters & as rare as a bird with 10 fannies.

hero of mine right up to when he was locked up on the **** charge. atsch

2nd holyfield fight turned me right off.

hated him after that and his bull**** mismatches.

refused to pay for lewis-tyson.

redeemed himself in retirement though.

A lot of people thought he would be dead by now ..

A iconic figure and still my favourite fighter of all time .

He basically just bought something new to the table ....im still one of those that thinks a primed and focused Tyson would have beaten just about any boxer that has stepped into a ring.

 

I would have loved to have been alive and able to fully experience the Tyson phenomena. It sounds brilliant being described by people so I can only imagine just how enthralling it must have been to live it as a Boxing fan
